Sloan Park - In Rowan County, NC
Awesome park! Our 2 and 4 year olds had a blast playing on the playground and walking around.
There's an old mill you can check out - When we were there the Mill Wheel? Was actually running with water, so that was cool to see. There's a creek, a nature trail, bathrooms right by the parking area, a country life museum (Was closed when we were there sadly). There's pavilions you can rent out for parties, A disc golf course, large fields to utilize, an outdoor stage, and probably more. The playground could use a good cleaning but the kids loved it. Some of the trails seemed like they could use more maintenance but those are just small gripes. Overall a great way to spend time outside. See photos from our trip below.
