NC Transportation Museum

No BS Review / Photography

AWESOME!

The NC Transportation Museum is an awesome way to spend part of your day. There’s enough to it to eat up at least a few hours, maybe more depending on how quickly you move. You can ride a train - a real working train. If you’ve got any kids super into trains (like mine) this will make their day. We rode the train first then meandered around the grounds checking out tons of old trains and other vehicles. Train ride lasted about 30 minutes or so and was fully worth the cost. Speaking of cost, this was a cheap outing - From their website:

ADMISSION + TRAIN RIDE

Adults: $12
Seniors/Military: $10
Children 3-12: $8
Members and Children Under 3: FREE

If you skip the train ride it’s even cheaper, though I’d recommend doing it.

There are vending machines located in a few spots. Plenty of bathrooms scattered around, and there’s a gift shop that sells drinks, popcorn (which was super good) and various gifts, all for reasonable prices.

There is also a sandbox for the kiddos to play in.

100% worth checking it out at least once. This has been my quick no BS review.
